  This appliance is so much more than a microwave. It does an excellent job grilling various meats and other cooking. I love the way it broils steaks. I highly recommend this product.

  So, in conclusion, if you are looking for a microwave that does more than just reheat and boil water, give this one a try. You will have to read/reread to figure out what settings to use. For me, I only go to the manual now when cooking something that isn't done often.

  It works well enough and cooks fine, but my family has not taken to the "high maitenance" of this unit. To use the auto buttons you have to always consult the manual, so instead, my family never uses those buttons (which defeats all the benefits of the convection options). Also, we are always forgetting to "boost up" the popcorn (you have to raise up microwave popcorn onto an overturned pie pan) which means our 1st batch of the night typically gets ruined.

  This is going to be real short. This Sharp R-820BK is wonderful. It has very nice features and makes cooking so easy. With easy to follow on screen directions there is no messing up your dinner. Looks good and works great!
